Room Description
Set on the waterfront, each with a private swimming pool and views of the vast blue beyond, these villas are expertly dressed in a similar style, using a mix of restored antiques, inlaid wooden bedheads, carved-stone bedside tables and classic furniture: armchairs, sofas and ottomans covered in white cotton drill. The effect is a surprisingly successful marriage of Greek drama and contemporary understatement-pared down and quietly tasteful. The villas are designed in open plan style, one with exposed rock cave, with distinctive sleeping and living areas. Spacious bathrooms with built-in bathtubs made of polished concrete (a Cycladic classic) and separate polished stone shower in a carved recess, where phototherapy effects create illusions as light and water pour down from overhead. Sunbathing terrace for lounging and dining and sun beds with soft mattresses.
